How To Create a Half Up Half Down Braid | Sebastian Professional

Step 1: Prep the hair

Prep the hair using Dark Oil styling oil.

Add a few pumps of the oil to your hand, before running it through the entirety of the hair.

Then blow dry the hair to help lock the product in.

This will give the hair body, smoothness and shine.

Step 2: Create the perfect hair surface for braids

Spritz Dark Oil Fragrant Hair Mist onto the hair to help condition the hair, whilst also leaving it with a silky and shiny effect.

Then, evenly work a small amount of Craft Clay from your hands and onto the hair for better control while braiding.

Step 3: Start braiding the hair

Split the hair into sections and using a 3D braiding technique, create 1 braid in the middle of the hair – working your way from the front of the head to the nape area.

Then you can go in and add another braid on each side of the one in the middle, but this time starting from the top of the head going down, behind the back of the ear.

Secure the braids using mini elastic ties.
